Day 01:  Kathmandu to Kakani (31 kms)
Soon after breakfast Our Mt.Biking crow leave from  Thamel . Your efforts are rewarded by spectacular mountain views. We go to visit the Ranipauwa for good mountain views including Manaslu (8163m) and visit the typical Tamang village and back Upwards for the seriously fit ride up to Kakani. We camp in a reserve at 2000m to enjoy the stunning views of Ganesh Himal and Langtang Lirung and the valley view of Likhu Khola.

Day 02:  Kakani to Nagi Gompa (31 kms)  

Next, Budhanilkantha, Our Mt ,Biking team heading  a holy site for Hindus where Lord Vishnu is sleeping on the bed of snakes. Following the valley rim we then push our way on single-track uphill through thick forest of Shivapuri Reserve towards Nagi Gompa, a Buddhist nun's monastery. We camp close by the monastery premises Tibetan culture.

Day 03: Nagi Gompa to Nagarkot (34 kms)
Through  dense jungle of Shivapuri National Park and the route to the Helambu trek. We then ride down into the north-east corner of the valley, then we head on to a mix of single and jeep track to wind our way to Nagarkot. However, our route will depend on the condition of the trails. A short steep climb up to Nagarkot .

Day 04: Nagarkot to Dhulikhel via Nala 
After an early morning breakfast we have two options to ride downhill. One is to ride downhill on paved road to Bhaktapur and then to Nala or two, ride uphill to Nagarkot viewing Tower and then follow a technically steep downhill to Nala and towards Dhulikhel. Overnight in hotel.

Day 05: Dhulikhel to Namo Buddha 
After breakfast, Our  guide  help  sightseeing around Dhulikhel and biking towards Namobuddha, visiting cultural religious sites nearby and stay overnight. Namobuddha is one of the famous Buddhist religious place in Nepal.

Day 06: Namo Buddha to Kathmandu via Lubhu Sisneri 
Biking Team  ride on jeep track to the ancient city of Panauti, where Lord Buddha once lived as a prince. This special village-truly lost in time-is rarely visited by tourists. Indreswor Mahadev Temple in Panauti is the oldest surviving temple in Nepal, believed to be constructed in 1294A.D. Climbing west, we follow a jeep track along the meandering Roshi river. Beyond the town of Madhuban, we enter into a narrow pristine valley ascending 300m on superb trail to reach the summit of Kathmandu Valley's eastern rim known as Lakhuri Bhanjyang (2500m). What a grunt! But the views of the Himalayas are more than compensate. From the saddle, the descent is on switch-backed jeep track. We then cycle the last part of our journey from Sisneri to Kathmandu city making a quick round-about through Patan Durbar Square.

 

Kathmandu Dhulikhel (3 days)

Day 01:  Kathmandu to Dhulikhel (30 kms )After breakfast, start biking Bhaktapur to Dhulikhel, visit this ancient historical and cultural city on the way to Bhaktapur. Golden gate at Durbar Square, museum, Nyatapola temple, pottery square, woodcarving center and peacock window are the main attraction. After the   biking to Dhulikhel, evening sunset and morning sunrise  views.

Day 02: Dhulikhel to Namo Buddha After breakfast, sightseeing around Dhulikhel and biking towards Namobuddha, visiting cultural religious sites nearby and stay overnight. Namobuddha is one of the popular Buddhist religious sites in Nepal.

Day 03: Namo Buddha to Kathmandu via Panauti After breakfast, start biking towards Kathmandu, on the way visit Panauti, it is an ancient historical & cultural city and back to Kathmandu.


 

Daman Tour (3 days)

Day 01: This tours is starting from Kathmandu to Pharping via Bungmati For the Katnmandu Daman Mt .Biking Tour. In Bungmati you can see the Newari typical settlement and to cross the Very old suspension Bridge over the Bagmati river in Chovar then follow the continue to Pharping and overnight stay in the resort .

Day 02: After Breakfast we grabel road normal way to Kulekhani via Tamang village. Where we can visit the real typical Nepalese lifestyle along the way largest hydro power and artificial lake in Nepal . We continue the Hydro dam and up to Daman it takes about 2 hours up hills from there and overnight stay Daman. If weather is clear we go to visit the view tower for sunset in evening.

Day 03: After Breakfast, we  will follow the old Nepal’s highway links to India. But now a day there not so much traffics with very good mountain views. In Naubishe we meat again cruddy road which is the our precious highway to India and other Nepal’s  and back to  Kathmandu.

Tour Group Size

We organize Kathmandu Valley Mountain Bike Tour for any number of people. The group can be arranged in any number basis and also we can split the group and arrange accordingly. We will assign one group leader. This arrangement ensures that the group can still go ahead as scheduled itinerary despite any member gets sick while touring.

Experience and Health Requirements

Kathmandu Valley Mountain Bike Tour might need some endurance and stabina but no technical skill is needed. Tourist who has asthma, allergy or any other diseases related to hurt, lungs should take more precaution while on the tour.

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance while touring is not mandatory but it is safer and risk free if you have one. Insurance companies in Nepal do not provide travelling insurance for the foreigners and the trekkers need to get the travelling insurance from one of the international insurance companies. Sunrise Adventure Trek will have accident insurance for the staffs.

Accommodations

Accommodation in Kathmandu will be arranged on twin sharing basis on BB plan except the extra cost for the single supplement (depending on the room availability) according to the choice of the standard of the hotels before and after the tour. Accommodation during most of the tour will be arranged at standard twin sharing or according to availability and your need.

Meals

While on tour, meals are provided three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Unlike other trekking companies, Sunrise Adventure Trek allows tourists to choose the food from the menu. When the group is too big for the hotels to provide individual dishes, set menu will be arranged in most places. We use the hotels which serve hygienic, nutritious and good food for the tourists for them to get enough energy for rest of the day.

Equipment and Clothing

Except for winter (January & February), clothing can be casual. And Femalae tourists should consider not showing flesh because of the culture in Nepal. While choosing the equipment tourists need give emphasis on two simple aspects: Lightweight and Functional. The items should be lightweight, dependable, and adaptable to a variety of extreme weather conditions.

Clothing

-    T – shirts, under garments & some of your personal choice of clothing is enough for this touring. But rain coat during rainy season and Sweaters as well as warn clothes for winter is necessary.

Season

Touring in Nepal, can be done all year. But the best season are Spring (March – May) and Autumn (mid Sept. – mid Dec.). Trekking in autumn season is noted for clear weather with blue sky. It gets colder towards the end of December. This trek can be done in any month with less focus on January and February as this month’s are colder than usual.
