Pisang Peak Climbing / Expedition
One of the most popular peaks climbing in Annapurna Region, Pisang Peak Climbing is challenging as you have to pass through some glaciers. Because of it is located in worlds highest pass it is great for exploration.
In the west part are the huge rock slabs, making climbers to climb. This climbing has been remarkable since German groups successfully climbed in 1955. The peak’s rise starts from Pisang village. Because of rock slabs, Pisang peak is considered as one of the technical requiring peak of Nepal.
Our journey begins from Kathmandu and gradually heading to Besisahar and trek through Annapurna Circuit trails. We reach Pisang village and path ascends following the ways of sparse woods and pasture to Kharka (4,380) considered as the best place for setting up the base camp. High Camp is set up at (5,400m); there will be snow at the high camp from end of November to end of March. Following the steep and difficult ways we finally reach the summit. From the summit splendid views of mountains like Tilicho peak, Annaurna II and IV, Glacier dome, Ghangaurna, etc can be seen. After a successful summit, we further head towards Manang valley and reach upto Thorang Phedi. Thorang pass, also highest pass of the world is truly meaningful of our whole journey. From there we arrive Muktinath and descend further down through beautiful Jharkot village. After that we reach to jomsom from where we take flight to Pokhara and make an end to our journey.
