**Winter (December - February) - **Trekking in the winter season is cold and low season. Cold temperatures and the possibility of snowfall make it hard to trek. In the winter season, a limited teahouse is operated but less crowded.

**Monsoon (June - August)—Due** to heavy rainfall, mountain views are rare. During this season we cannot enjoy the view properly as clouds cover it. Heavy rainfall makes the route slippery. It's low season. But you can do the Tibet, [Upper Mustang,](https%2525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525253A%2525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252F%2525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252Fhttps%2525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525253A%2525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252F%2525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252Fsunriseadventuretrek.com%2525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252Ftrips%2525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252Fupper-mustang-trekking-package-cost-info) and Dolpo trek during this time.

### **Transportation Facilities: Road Condition**

Transportation cost is budget-friendly. Trekkers can choose either local buses or jeeps. Local buses are more cost effective than Jeeps however it is more crowded as it is served to local people also and it is more uncomfortable compared to Jeeps.

Jeeps are more comfortable and more expensive than local buses. You can either book shared Jeep or Private Jeep. In a shared Jeep you have to share your Jeep with local visitors/trekkers and in Private Jeeps you don't have to share. It will be better to book a private jeep if you are trekking with your family or group of friends.

During high season time, there will be a limited number of jeeps so, we recommend you to book two way transportation in advance. In some places like Pokhara there is an airport facility , so you can travel by plane also. During the dry season, the condition of the road is good but during the monsoon the condition of the road may not be as good as we expect, so it will be better to make your next plan or destination after knowing about the road's condition.

**Accommodation: Tea house or Guest House**

Accommodation here is budget friendly that range from normal hotel room to luxury room. You can get a luxury hotel room in Pokhara however in Ghorepani, Tadapani, and Ghandruk all you can get is a teahouse and small guest houses.
