The national park is enlisted to have more than 650 species of birds and over 800 different species of butterflies. It also shelters rare and endangered animal Panda and other rare plants as well. In addition this trail offers amazing views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Baruntse, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Thamserku and many others. We reach Barun La Pass as 4110 meters and get a closer view of Mount Makalu. The main settlers of this region are Sherpa, Rai, and Limbus. The trek is incredibly offering and you can do this trek as the alternative of Khumbu Region trekking.

Moreover, different people following their own cultures distinct beliefs, languages, and norms. Arun Valley Trek provides you the beautiful exploration of Khumbu region in western part of Nepal. Along with this, you can observe the rhododendron forest including 650 species of birds and 800 species of butterflies, endangered rare pandas, and many other animals. You can also do EBc trek for the longer days.

Our trip starts from Kathmandu. First, we round off Kathmandu valley by visiting some of the historically important heritages and we take a flight to Tumlingtar. We start our first trek from here and reach Marduna. Even though, trail starts to get exciting and usual as we walk further and further. Therefore when we reach Dobani, we can already sense isolation and take a rocky trek to Salpa Phedi. The view from here is great and the hospitality of the villagers are amazing. We trek to Guranse and along the way, pass rhododendron forest and get to see colorful grassy lands and meadows. From Guranse, it is all the way to Sanam – in this trail we have to cross Salpa La Pass at 3350 and cross rhododendron forest. However, trek is steep from Sanal and we have to cross bridges to reach Bung – a tiny Rai Village. We cross Pangum La pass and experience a great view of Mera peak as we come closer to Painya. Although from Painya, we trek to Lukla and leave isolated villages’ village. In Lukla, you can either take rest or visit nearby Monasteries. Now, it is finally time to head back to the civilization of Kathmandu.
