Manaslu Peak Climbing / Manaslu Expedition
Mount Manaslu is the eighth highest mountain peak ( 8163 m/ 26781fit) in the world. We can ascend mount Manaslu from North East Face stepping up to four camps and final summit. Manaslu is located in the central-western part of Nepal. Toshio Imanishi (Japanese) and Gyalzen Norbu (Sherpa) were the first people who ascent to Mount Manaslu on 9 May 1956 A.D. We follow the route of Northeast ridge and follow the crystal white snow to summit Manaslu. Total about 40 days will be conducted to summit Manaslu. So the Manaslu climbing days will be between 20 to 25 days from Manaslu base summit and back to base camp.
Expedition to Mt. Manaslu is one of the best mountains to climb among 8000-meter peaks in the world. Nevertheless, Mount Manaslu is linkage with physical and soul/ spiritual. However, Manaslu is accessible as an easier peak climb among other 8000 meter peaks.

Manaslu Base camp - Manaslu Base camp is situated in rocky moraine (4800 meters / 15750 fit) so our team will arrange everything before you reach to base camp.
CAMP 1 (5700m/ 18700fit)- Manaslu climbing camp 1 (5700 m/ 18700) before you submit to camp 1 can have basic and advance training in base camp. Climb via ice section, moraine, and rocky trails. It will take about 4 hours to reach from Manaslu base camp to climb the first camp.
Camp 2 (6400m/ 21,000 fit)- Climbing from camp 1 to camp 2 is a technical part and will take about 5hrs. You will climb via step snow and passes two ladders. Camp 2 is located in icefalls and snowy parts.
Camp 3 (6800 m/ 22310 fit)- Climbing from Camp two to camp 3 will take about 4 hours. So Manaslu climbing from camp two to three is shorter durations. Ascending way to camp 3 is a windy and cold section part with sunny tremendous mountain views.
Camp 4 (7500m/ 24606 ft) - Camp 3 to camp 4 climbing distance is about 3 to 4 hours. In this part, the climbers feel a lower level of oxygen. Snow with the heavy part of ice covers in this section. Steep snow on about a 55-degree slope and this part of the trail is a technical climb.
Manalsu summit (8156 m / 26759 fit) – After camp 4 next at midnight ascent to Manaslu. Our Sunrise Adventure treks team will fix everything for the summit to Manalsu. It will be a long day to the summit once you summit and finally back to camp 3 and overnight stay. It will take a minimum of about 10 to 12 hours for summit Manaslu and finally back to camp three.
Mera Peak climbing
Mera peak is the highest trekking peak (6476m) located in the Khumbu part of Nepal. Mera peak climbing offers an incredible range of the great Himalayas. You can close view of the world's five highest mountains from the top and high camp of the Mera peak. You can see the earth's highest peak Mount Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga. Mount Kanchenjunga looks very far located in the eastern part close to the Indian border.

Short Approach to Ascent Mera Peak
The short approach to ascent Mera peak is suited for those who have limited holidays. We firstfly from Kathmandu to Luka and directly start our trip to Zatra La Pass, Hinku Valley. Mera peak trek passes via the beautiful wilderness of the Khumbu valley and Sagarmatha national park which is better for acclimatization. So you can do fast and shortcut way to climb Mera peak.
Although, you no need to go to Namche Bazar rather will trek straight forward from Lukla to Chutanga (3450 m). Therefore our Sunrise adventure trekking team has expert Sherpa climbing guides who have much time successfully climbed to the Mera peak. We do also offer basic training skills either in Mera base camp or in Khare before a day you head to the high camp of Mera peak. You can also do only Mera Peak trek up to Mera base camp if you scare ascent.
Trek passes through a beautiful lush green forest, beautiful rhododendron flower trees, fantastic views of white rivers, and rocky paths. All the way you will beautiful villages, Zatra La pass (4600m), Kothe, Tangnang, Kothe, and Khare. All the high passes on the trail are quite an amazing and refreshing part of the Mera La trek.

Mera and Island combo climbing is the ultimate climbing experience. Mera and Island peak climbing is one of the classical climbing peaks located in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Mera and Island peak expedition is the popular peak climbing also known as technical peak climbing in the Khumbu region.
First, you will climb to Mera Peak and Amphu Laptsa pass and finally climbed to Island peak and back to Lukla and back to Kathmandu. Physically and mentally preparation is well needed for combo Mera and Island peak climbing with Amphu Laptcha pass trek.
However, not only peak climbing but also have good experience of the high pass (Amphu Laptsa pass) trek. Amphu Laptcha pass ( 5845 m) is technical pass trekking. Itinerary
First, take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Once we reach Lukla then we trek to Chutanga. It is an easy trek and our trail passes through the thick forest of silver fir, birch, pines, and rhododendron trees. Then continuously descending to the pristine Rhododendron & Pine sceneries, we reach Chutanga. Chutanga has many small streams and is a summer pasture. We pass through Zwatra La, climb and cross Kalo Himal Ridge in the Nau Lekh. Climbing uphill to the ridge with Buddhist prayer flags, we traverse across a boulder slope. We can view the great scenery of the Himalayas across Dush Koshi. And after viewing an impressive view, we walk for about half an hour and reach Thuli Kharka. Today we leave Thuli Kharka and descend down to Hinku Valley. The trek is fascinating as we cross three ridges: Hinku River, Hinku Valley, and Kothe. Likewise, plunging to the Hinku River and rambling toward Kothe, the trail possesses rhododendron forests and is full of tall Himalayan pines. We also happen to admire and view Peak 43 and Kusum Kanguru. Our walk for today starts from the shadow of Mera Peak and along the ridge of the Hinku River. Strolling a couple of hours we reach Gondi hung and observe 200-year-old Lungsumgba Gompa where we can find Mera Peak scripted in rock along with its route to reach Mera. Then after a short walk, we reach Thangnak – Thangnak is situated in a wide U-shaped valley, dwarfed by surrounding mountains. After having breakfast start your day hike. For acclimatizing in high altitude, we rest in Thangnak. It is a very gorgeous place to make oneself surrounded by mountains from all sides and we visit Sabal Tsho Lake. We also have to take an acclimatization hike to cairn (5271m) which is on the flank of Kusum Kanguru (6367m). Moving slowly from the east side of Thangnak, we follow Dig Kharka from Dig Glacier and get to be amazed by the stupendous view of Charpate Himal. As we trail further, we approach Hinku Nup and Shar Glacier. Furthermore, we reach khare for a lovely evening and to witness the beautiful north face of Mera Peak. Walking through steps full of the boulder, we reach Mera Base Camp. Either in Khare or in Mera base camp, our Guide will give you basic instructions and cautions you have to take in the ascent. You will learn climbing techniques, about different gears and information. Later in the evening, we talk with experienced climbers and gain some useful insights. Today we initiate our trek from Base Camp and climb about 400 meters before reaching High Camp. High Camp is located right at the Base of Big rock making us feel warm and getting an opportunity to view great sunrise and sunset. Along the trek, we can see stupendous views of Mt. Everest (8848m), Mr. Cho Oyu (8201m), Lhotse (8516m), Kanchenjunga, and others. Mera Peak is asserted as the highest trekking peak in Nepal. Today is going to be our unforgettable day because we are going to ascend Mera. We usually wake up very early in the morning (around 2 am) and take our climbing equipment to the summit. As we ascend, the first ray of sun hits the mountain and we can enjoy the full view of amazing Mountain View from above. Spending some time at the summit of Mera (6476 meters), we take a journey back to Khare. From Kothe, we ascend through the thick and lush forest of rhododendron. After enjoying the hills full of rhododendrons, we reach Thuli Kharka – where we once more enjoy views of Mera North, Mera Central, and South Face. Maximum Altitude- 4320 meter Walking distance – 6 to 7 hrs Accommodations -Overnight stay in tea house Meals included – (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)
Leaving Thuli Kharka we ascend to Zatrwa La Pass making it the last day of trekking. From there we can view stunning views of Lukla valley and further trailing down, we reach Chutanga. We trek further from Chutanga till we reach Lukla village and conclude our climbing. Leaving mountains behind, we take the flight to Kathmandu. Flights are scheduled in the morning and after we arrive at the Kathmandu airport, you are escorted to the hotel and to witness the diverse culture of Nepal – we do shopping & half-day sightseeing (Swayambhunath-“Monkey Temple”). Later in the evening, you attend a dinner program as complementary from Sunrise Adventure Trek and celebrate a successful summit.
