Nepal and China Kerung boarder has affected due to yesterday 8 July 2025 heavenly landslide. While it's damage the road all the goods and tourist are stock in the custom. Nepal and China kerung boarder has totally blockage until renovation of the Metire bridge and Kerung highway. Heavy landslide and flood damages the roads of the both countries. 

Flooding and landslide causes huge economic lost on trade and tourist for the Kailash to Nepal and China. Many tourist are visiting to Mt. Kailash / Mansarovar are affected on the both way boarder side due to the swept way of the bridge. Landslide blocked Nepal and China connected Kerung boarder until rebuild the Mitire bridge. 

What are the things damages the landslide?

It's huge things damages the landslide to both Nepal and China side. According the source heavy landslide and flooding went about 3 am on 8 July where people were sleeping. Whereas about 18 people including 6 Chinese and Nepalese were lost on the landslide and some people were rescued. It takes time to rebuild the bridge which is quickly connect to Nepal and China via Rasuwagadi and Kerung boarder.

The customs affected due to the road blockage. All the pilgrimages they went to Mount Kailash via Nepal and China Kerung highway which is direct easy road access to the Mansarovar, Mt. Kailash tour. It's mid monsoon in Nepal where landslide and flood affected different part of the country's. 

 Moreover, it might affects the commercial goods which is entry from the Kerung boarder to Nepal side. While highway is blocked it might affect the Dashain and Tihar festival for the Nepalese where commercial goods are not arrival on time and stock on the border.

Kerung, China  and Nepal and Rasugadi, Mitire bridges has swept way due to the flooding and landslide.  Many container and electric vehicle are damage and swept way due to devastating landslide and flooding to Nepal, Rasugadi boarder even affected in customs. Thus, people who are living around the Bhotekoshi river side are to alert with the flooding and landside.

How do tourist entry and exist via and Nepal and Tibet boarder? 

Those tourist who are travelling to Mt. Kailash and Tibet have to entry and back to the Nepal and Tibet via different boarder. They have options passing via flying in and out Lhasa next either through Kodari (Tatopani) boarder or Nepal and China Hilsa boarder.

Finally, after the landslide which takes time to rebuild the Kerung bridges so which affected on trade sector and tourist travelling to Nepal and Tibet and Kailash.
