Mera and Island combo climbing is the ultimate climbing experience. Mera and Island peak climbing is one of the classical climbing peaks located in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Mera and Island peak expedition is the popular peak climbing also known as technical peak climbing in the Khumbu region.
First, you will climb to Mera Peak and Amphu Laptsa pass and finally climbed to Island peak and back to Lukla and back to Kathmandu. Physically and mentally preparation is well needed for combo Mera and Island peak climbing with Amphu Laptcha pass trek.
However, not only peak climbing but also have good experience of the high pass (Amphu Laptsa pass) trek. Amphu Laptcha pass ( 5845 m) is technical pass trekking. Thus, both Mera and Island peak climbing with Amphu Laptcha La pass trail is a vibrant experience for the trekkers. Although you can see the outstanding close views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and many more.
Mera peak and Island peak climbing are needed best weather to the summit. Visit the beautiful Sherpa people their culture and lives style of the Khumbu region. Of course, for any international peak climbing and mounting insurance is mostly for your safety. You have to take insurance for both Mera and Island peak climbing. Your insurance should cover personal medical, and evacuation. However, insurance makes your trip low risk and comfortable to travel. Therefore insurance is mandatory for the high altitude trekking and peak climbing. Insurance of the Crew (guide, porters and Sherpa, cook) Regarding insurance of our crew (team members) company is well responsible about it. Sunrise Adventure treks will arrange for insurance for our crew (guide, porters, and Sherpa cook) our team member’s insurance coverage their medical, accidental, and rescue coverage if in case of any emergency. The company is well responsible for our field staff but the client should have their own insurance to cover if any high risk. -
Best time for Mera and Island peak climbing
Spring March to May and Autumn September to November are the best seasons for Mera and Island peak climbing. Climbing needed the ideal weather for climbing as well as high pass trail. Similarly, monsoon season June, July and August is not ideal for the climbing due to the monsoon and cloudy. Winter season December, January, February, months have some high risk for climbing due to the heavenly snow falls and freezing during climbing. Both Island peak climbing needed favorable weather. Beautiful season of trekking and climbing makes trekking and climbing worth it. -

Food and Accommodations on Mera & Isalnd peak Climbing
You will have a standard hotel in Kathmandu including breakfast. Although, basic accommodation tea house, and camping accommodation during Mera and Island peak trekking and climbing. However, you will have a basic sharing bathroom and toilets on the trek so do not hope for a western-style of bathroom. So there is basic accommodation during trek and camping accommodation during climbing period. Food and drinks items- You can enjoy different types of meals on the trek. You will have Indian, Continental, Italian, Chinese any typical Nepalese cousins during trekking. Either if you are a Vegetarians or Vegan such meals are also available on the trek. While you are with a big group better you can have quick meals. Regarding drinks can use boil water, mineral water, or tap water using water purification tablets. Mountains water is quite clean to drinks it’s no any pollution.
